From the very beginning of pregnancy to the moment the puppies are allowed to leave the nest… we support you in every stage. You can count on our years of expertise and optimally equipped practice for a smooth and safe process.
During pregnancy, we can perform various examinations and checks. These also help to estimate the delivery date very accurately.
Early in pregnancy (D21-24) an ultrasound confirms the pregnancy. Seeing heartbeats, checking placentas, recognizing early resorptions, … a lot is possible. In more difficult pregnancies we closely monitor the pregnancy during multiple ultrasounds. This allows us to intervene more quickly if necessary.
The pregnancy hormone progesterone can be monitored during pregnancy. In case of hypoluteidism, pregnancy can still be maintained thanks to quick intervention.
Towards the end of pregnancy we can count the number of puppies in a safe way ourusing our direct, digital X-ray device. This is certainly an added value for a natural birth, so you know for sure that the last puppy has been born safely.

Neonatology
A newborn puppy needs special care until the age of eight weeks. Because the kidneys are not yet fully developed, they cannot process every type of medication. In addition, we can also help with arranging the necessary formalities:
We have followed various specialization courses and have suitable equipment such as incubators and oxygen cages to help even the smallest patients. Intra-osseous infusions, hyperimmune serum, feeding tubes, etc. are also possible.
Ectopic ureters, liver shunt, mega-esophagus and various cardiovascular disorders… we detect them via ultrasound, X-ray and blood tests.
We can screen the litter for parentage and for certain abnormalities. Think of MDR, ichthyosis, …
Of course we are there to do what is necessary to prepare your puppies for their new home.
