AquaBalance: physiotherapy & hydrotherapy for dogs
In orthopedics, a patient often does not have enough with a few medications and some rest. That is why Fertivets launched the Aquabalance department, which specializes in physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. A workout or treatment in the water relieves any pain and can promote the healing process. In addition, water relaxes the joints and muscles, without the risk of overload.
With Aqua Balance, we focus on:
- Hydrotherapy: welcome to the germ-free swimming pool for water acclimatisation or a session on the underwater treadmill.
- Balance & coordination: conscious training of muscles in cases of disorders or recovery after surgery.
- E.N.S: pain therapy based on electrical waves for muscle relaxation, muscle building and during recovery from various problems.
- Massage: blood flow is increased, muscle tension is reduced and physical and mental well-being is boosted.
- Laser therapy: effective for wound healing and a wide range of orthopaedic problems

Hydrotherapy
Everyone is welcome in our swimming pool. A session on the underwater treadmill or getting used to water? We guarantee optimal guidance. The water temperature of 29 to 30°C is also ideal for better blood circulation.
Balance & coordination
With balance exercises your puppy or dog learns to consciously use the body and train muscles. Balance and coordination are important postoperatively or with disorders of the muscular or nervous system. It is also a fun activity!
Laser Therapy
Your pet will enjoy a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect and a faster healing process thanks to the light waves from our laser device. Your dog will not experience any pain during the treatment. We use our laser for wounds that are difficult to heal and a wide range of orthopedic problems.
T.E.N.S.
Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation is a targeted pain therapy that works based on electrical waves. Pain stimuli are reduced. It is also used for muscle relaxation and muscle building. Ideal during recovery from muscle atrophy and neurological or orthopedic problems.
Manual therapy
Manual therapy affects both the physical and mental aspects of your pet. By manipulating soft tissues by hand, we reduce muscle tension and increase blood flow and the pain threshold through the release of endorphins.
Fertility research
We are happy to examine your animal before or during a fertility procedure. Our clinic has state-of-the-art equipment for this.
